I went to see Dr. Tran as a 2nd opinion about my knee as I wasn't happy with my original surgeon. Dr. Tran spent a lot of time explaining to me the pros and cons of surgery and non surgery treatment of my torn ACL. I elected to proceed with surgery with him and we discussed in depth the different graft options including patellar tendon or hamstrings tendon, again going through the pro's and cons of each. He didn't push me either way, but we chose a graft type which would work best for me and my recovery. I underwent my surgery earlier this year and my knee has felt great. His assistant Wendy is also amazing and helped schedule my surgery date without any issues.

My husband tore his bicep of the tendon just before we were scheduled to go away. Dr. Tran did not waste any time to have this fixed and am quite grateful. My husband has healed well. A year later and he is getting stronger.

Tore my right ACL 9 years ago, he fixed it and got back to soccer and hockey without any issues. Now I've torn up my left knee. Managed to track him down at his new office, because I wouldn't consider any one else treating me after the fantastic result I had.

Very compassionate doctor and great bedside manner. Listened to my concerns regarding my knee and explained everything clearly about surgery. Got me back playing ultimate frisbee after fixing my ACL.

I had an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair with Dr. Frank Tran about 8 months ago. He truly did an outstanding job. I have been back playing soccer and basketball and have been very happy with the way my knee is feeling. Most surgeons will remove the meniscus, but Dr. Tran was able to stitch, repair, and save my meniscus, which I think takes a lot of technical skill. He’s one of the best in Toronto and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. His staff are great and he also has a fantastic rehab team!

Had arthroscopic surgery today to remove a couple pieces of bone from my right knee. Dr. Tran was everything anyone would want in a surgeon. Knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to and pleasant. His staff were all great as well, especially Wendy at his Scarborough office who responded to all of my emails with full responses to all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Tran to anyone in need of an Orthopedic Surgeon. Thanks Dr. Tran! -Luke G

Right knee Meniscus damage after a car accident Dr Tran is generally good before and after the procedure , due to the extent of the damage he clearly told me there's no going back to 100% - but my pain is under control and im able to do most of what i normally did before the accident and surgery , i just have to be careful its been 4 years now since my surgery , i go see him every now n then just for a check up would i use him as my surgeon again - of course, anytime ! just get ready to WAIT LONG TIME for your date
