Dr. Mohammad Tabaris's response

After being diagnosed with colon cancer, I was lucky enough to get Dr. Mohammad Tabari as my surgeon. He is a very skilled and kind Doctor and has great bed side manners. He explained the whole procedure in advance to me and assured me that all will be O.K. He stayed in contact with me, even after I was released from hospital. Also follow up visits have been scheduled. Anyone getting Dr. Tobari as their surgeon should call themselves lucky.
My surgery was an "emergency" but Dr. Tabari was so very kind and compassionate and took the time to explain in detail to my husband and children what he planned and also the outcome for which he was aiming. His genuine concern for me as his patient, came through loud and clear.. His in hospital after care was second to none as was his care upon my visit to his office. Thank you Dr. Tabari for your excellence in everything .
Dr. Tabari was a consummate professional with a tremendous bedside manner to boot. Knowing that he was going to perform my emergency Laparoscopy left me feeling comfortable as I made my way to surgery. He was able to ally my fears and most importantly he did not leave me guessing as to the possibility of complications. Thank you Dr. Tabari for your wonderful all around care of me.
Very pleasant upbeat doctor During my 4 day stay at Scarborough Hospital Dr.Tobari dropped in to check on me twice a day. These days included Saturday and Sunday. Days when most medical people are off. I could not have had a better experience in this cancer situation. Thankyou Doctor Tabari
I was a patient at TSH for a little under 2 months after undergoing a hernia surgery in December 2016. I had complications which resulted in me being put in ICU for a month, thanks to doctor Tabaris fast response I underwent an emergency surgery and my life was saved, I had a colostomy bag for about six months . he has continued to treat me and my colostomy bag was removed just a few weeks ago. Doctor Tabari saved my life and I never repay him. he kept my family up to date with all my health information and assured them I was going to make a miraculous recovery and my family and I cant thank him enough for his positive attitude and great personality
As a patient who underwent surgery in February 2014 at The Scarborough Hospital, I feel that it is incumbent upon me to take the time to extend my deep gratitude and that of my family to my surgeon Dr. Mohammad Tabari. He is an outstanding physician with great passion for his work and compassion for his patients. He went way beyond the call of duty and to great lengths to explain to my wife and me all aspects of my disease and treatment without being asked. Dr Tabari exhibited great patience and addressed all our questions and concerns without seeming to be constrained by time. He responded similarly when subsequently responding to questions from my brother-in-law. He has even called my home to see how I was doing and responded to calls from my brother–in-law who had certain concerns. He assuaged any fears we had. We always felt the presence of his caring hand. I am now fully recovered and have returned to a normal, active life. I have never had a physician visibly show how happy he was to see me well and fully healed. He is a truly remarkable physician and human being. I applaud his dedication, commitment, compassion in dealing with me and my family at this most trying of times.
Dr. Tabari is an excellent surgeon. He is a remarkable doctor, so kind and caring. My family and I are deeply grateful. My husband had gone through an unsuccessful surgery by another surgeon. A supposedly easy surgery resulted in a very complicated peritonitis. He had an emergency second surgery one week after the first surgery and he had to stay in ICU for 3 days, stayed in the hospital for 28 days. Even after he was discharged from the hospital, a nurse had to come to our home everyday to take care of his wound for almost half a year. Then we were lucky that Dr. Tabari was referred to us to follow up with my husband's illness. In the first meeting, he explained in details what was the condition of my husband, what was his plan. He told us that in the next one and a half years, my husband still needed to do 2 more major surgeries, he would try his best to heal my husband, he wanted my husband to have the quality of life he deserved back. In the past one and a half years, Dr. Tabari was very thorough, patient and understanding. Whenever we called and asked him a question, he would return our call very soon . In March, the 8-hour surgery he operated on my husband was so successful that he only had to stay in the hospital for 4 days, no fever, not much pain and not much scars. He came and checked my husband's progress daily. He called me and let me know my husband's condition if I didn't see him in the hospital. My husband had the final surgery in June. Again, it was very successful. The recovery after the surgery was so good that in just one month, he could have 80% of the life he had 2 years ago. Very soon, he will go back to work and he will have his life in quality back just like Dr. Tabari had promised one and a half years ago. Thank you very much, Dr. Tabari. My husband and I will highly recommend him.
