He saved my life during childbirth. I honestly would not be here if it wasn't for him. I can't even put into words how grateful I am to be able to watch my children grow up. He is incredible.

I had uterine fibroids removed by Dr. Samra in July of 2016. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient in explaining my options while also answering all of my questions to my satisfaction. I was told by several of the nurses and administrators in the hospital that Dr. Samra is so well respected that they have either been patients of his or had family members that were patients. My surgery went smoothly and Dr. Samra stopped in to see me at the hospital numerous times to check on my recovery. He even emailed me pictures of my fibroids after they had been removed! Dr. Samra and the staff at Centenary Hospital went above and beyond my expectations. I'm so pleased with how everything turned;all thanks to Dr. Samra and his team.

I ha lapiscoptical surgery in January to remove my ovaries as my Mom had ovarian cancer 50 years ago and my family doctor Dorian Ensien could see from the pelvic ultra sound there was a cylist growing on my right ovary so he referred me to Dr Samara who is a very understanding doctor and was very understanding of my concerns to go under. His staff were very patient and support of my nervous nesses and made me feel as comfortable as they could . I had no pain after the surgery and would highly recommend Dr Samara and his team. thanks again for your patient and understanding. I would highly recommend this doctor

David Samra is a very incompetent gynecologist! The Scarborough Health Clinic selected this doctor to conduct the treatment of my human papilloma virus infection. David Samra opted for the application of liquid podophyllin on the condylomata. I ended up with third degree burns and permanent deep tissue scarring along with an exponential increase in genital wart growth—both in size and amount/area! During my follow-up visit—where David Samra examined the horrendous aftermath—he insisted (to my extreme shock and terror!) that it was now necessary for him to conduct invasive surgery on/in me at the neighbouring hospital—citing removal of the newly formed/detected and now more and larger vaginal exterior and interior condylomata as the reason. Adhering to my intense instincts, I never again engaged with David Samra and went to my family physician who referred me to an extraordinarily wonderful obstetrician/gynecologist that eradicated all of the HPV lesions carefully/attentively, painlessly, and quite quickly using much more advanced, effective, and safer procedures—cryotherapy and loop electrosurgical excising—all carried out in his super lovely and welcoming office environment. The speedy and successful recovery from such a dire appearing situation was incredible! Oh, and there was absolutely no need for anesthesia required hospital scalpel treachery! Comparing these two ob/gyn doctors, the difference in professionalism, interpersonal skills, and competence is astounding! David Samra can be defined as a medical malpractitioner and I truly hope that no other person experienced/experiences dreadful emotional/physical distress/trauma as a result of his questionable doctering!

I first met Dr. Samra in the Emergency Dept. He was the gynecologist on call the night I went in. I was scared and buckled over in pain and after my examination; He reassured me that I was going to be fine. He eased my worst fears that night and continues to do so. That was 29 years ago. Two sons later, and living far away, I’m still his patient. I remember his new office when there were two picture frames displaying pictures from proud parents of babies he brought into the world. Over the years there have been too many baby pictures and cards of thanks to frame. They are proudly attached to every wall for all to see. It amazes me to see how many others lives he has touched besides mine. Sometimes there is a wait, but I still know after all these years, he’s worth the wait.

I was hoping to be very Happy with Dr. Samaritan. As he was a student of the Great Chief Gynocologist Dr. Titus Owalabi. Whom had practiced at NYGH. There for I though Dr. Samra came highly recommended. One I got to the office the Secretary at that time was okay. However a year and change later she left to live in the Caribbean so I had little experience with her. The new secretary was a disaster she was talking about her intimate relationship and that her boyfriend wouldn't appreciate Dr. Samra yell g at her. Needless to say it wasn't professional at all. She didn't last long. Dr. Samra: I went to him for abnormal Pap reading on Cells that could be Cancerous needless to say. I had to do 2 test as he want able to get a proper swab the first time . Went back was cleared of that issue. And told to Monitor. I also had issue with heavy Periods and Anemia due to having Fibroid's. In which. Dr Samra told me he wouldn't waste his time to clear it out. He suggested that I have Hysterectomy at the age of 36. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that for a option during this time in my life. I asked him all about the complication and he dismissed my concerns as if I wish to stop suffering from Low Iron and Painful Period that last longer than should to just get rid of "It". He also said he wouldn't do surgery on me until I lose weight . I didn't ask for a Surgery of that sort and the other Specialist said my weight is fine to perform surgery if I chose that option . However when I came back to Dr. Samra with research I did on a less evasive procedure to shrink the fibroid. UTERINE Fibroid Embolization. He told me he that won't work.just take it out. Or take a Birthcontrol to lessen the symptoms I was facing monthly. I had to inform him about the other medication that could contradict with BC. .also I want trying to add more issue to my Harmon problems. Dr. Samar seems to be a good Obstetrician but when it comes to Women Vaginal issues he is very nonchalant and not able to provide open option to his clients. I hope he can change .
