Ratings for Dr. Tracey Asano
Dr. Asano and the staff at Centenary made a bad situation the best experience I could ever hope for. Extremely caring andd professional. Took the time to explain everything.. Her assistant Scott was excellent as well. Can't say enough great things! Love her!
I have gone to Dr. Asanao for several years for the same issue and I think that she is absolutely wonderful. She has put my mind at ease. I always leave her office feeling better. Her secretary/assistant, Scott, on the other hand could learn a lesson or two from his employer. He is not really all that polite and takes what feels like a lifetime to return a phone call.
I just met Dr Asano and I loved her from the start. She has a great way of putting one at ease. She was thorough in explaining what was happening to me, why it was happening and went to great detail as to how we were going to fix it. I left her office completely secure in the knowledge that I was in good hands. Her confidence is infectious. Her assistant, on the other hand, is rude. I was the first appointment and he opened the office, walked in and shut the door on me! Even though he knew I was there! His desk is a sloppy, disorganized nightmare which doesn't instill confidence in his office managerial skills.
Dr. Tracy Asano is professional and kind, but we had an awful experience with her secretary Scott. Don't count on him to relay messages or book appointments or return your calls. He talks to you in a very rude manner, and a typical response would be "I don't have time for you." We have never seen a medical secretary as rude and as unhelpful as he. He should not be working in a helping profession.
Dr. Tracey Asano is an excellent surgeon. She is compassionate, attentive and highly skilled. She takes the time to explain all the details of your condition , the required treatment and what to expect afterwards. She is very personable and treats you with a high level of professionalism, knowledge and personalized care. I've had several surgeries over the years and she is - by far - the best surgeon I've ever had. I would highly recommend her for any surgery you require. C. McLaren
Dr. Tracey Asano, is the best Cancer Surgeon to grace the Scarborough Centenary. She is honest, she is always punctual and most of all she cares about the well-being of her patients and family. She looks beyond your illness, she advises, she looks for every concern that you might have. As a Survivor, I tip my hat to her all the time. Thank you Dr. A.
Dr. Tracey Asano, is the best surgeon I have ever had an experience with...and I have had many surgeries with other doctors. She truly piys her heart and soul in her work. She took her own time and consulted me. She removed a cancerous tumor. She found out I declined treatment and thoroughly made sure.....I knew the outcome if I refused treatment....she, just may have, saved my life.....and that part wasn't her job.
On Dec 8th, I was diagnosed with breast cancer ( DCIS) and 10 days later I had a double mastectomy performed by Dr. Asano. She was so patient, caring and knowledgeable throughout the entire consultation about what best treatment will be best for me. She never pressured me one way or the other. She let me take the time to think through every steps of the treatment. At the same time, her assistant Scott was extremely efficient with making sure I do not miss any MRI, Ultrasounds, Biopsy appointments. He would even accommodate my schedule! Being a widow with a child, my schedule was somehow rigid. He went above and beyond to help me with scheduling appointments that works out best for me. He is also very friendly and personable. After 3 1/2 weeks, except for arm stiffness, I was back onto my daily routines_ driving and cooking. I strongly believe Dr. Asano's expertise in the operation room and her holistic care for me sped up my recovery. I am forever grateful to them.
Dr Asano is an angel. The scariest moment in anyone's life and this person sets up office there. That she is professional, inspires trust and confidence and sets the bar for empathy is the least I can say of her. Thank you so much Tracey. aside, right hemicolectomy.
