Dr. Nanda is an AWESOME doctor. He did my lumpectomy five years ago and he has followed me since then. I get to say goodbye to him very soon as I have reached the five year milestone. Dr. Nanda is a very kind, compassionate, caring doctor who gives you all the time you need. Never rushes, always respectful and explains everything in detail. Thanks you, Dr. Nanda.
Dr. Nanda is an amazing doctor. I had a colonoscopy completed 2 years ago to find I had a tumor. Within 3 weeks, I was in the hospital having it removed. He explained everything in detail. 2 years later I still see Dr. Nanda for follow up appointments and still has appointment/testing scheduled to make sure my tumor has not come back. His staff in his office are wonderful and pleasant ladies who respond back quickly when you call in. A great experience overall.
Dr. Nanda performed my lumpectomy for breast cancer in 2012. I had a "scare" in 2014 and due to that and disfigurement from the surgery, I asked him about having a double mastectomy. During our discuscion, Dr. Nanda said he wanted me to get another opinion from a plastic surgeon which I did. Eventually I had breast reduction surgery and am thrilled with the end results. I am so appreciative of Dr. Nanda's focus on what was right for me. He is an excellent surgeon and a caring individual. Thank you!
Just got back from a colonoscopy with Dr Nanda. I have nothing to say but good things about him. Great bedside manner, answers questions...really great. I gave 4 stars out of 5 for staff ONLY because of the anesthesiologist, Olivia Chi, who was the rudest individual I have ever in my life had to deal with...and thats enough about her. The rest of the staff I would invite over for a B.B.Q! Very pleasant experience, all things considered!
I as well had surgery (April 2015) under the skilled hands of Dr. Nanda I must say this was one of the most informative and comfortable surgeries I have under gone to date (3 previous surgeries). He was punctual at his office appointment scheduling and as a referral via Centenary Hospitals emergency dept I was met with a very warm smile by his staff, called into his office where I was greeted by a warm welcoming smile and out stretched hand. he spoke with me at great length, answered all my questions and filled in many I had not thought to ask. Surgery was scheduled and I left his office feeling very confident in him. Day of surgery went smoothly and I was handled amazingly well by all of the staff on shift that day at Centenary and even though the computer system crashed they had a plan in place and that too went rather well. Into day surgery and dressed in lovely blue garb waited about 20 minutes watching tv and was taken into pre-op and prepped. Was met two other wonderful women who had smiling faces and they made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable until Dr. Nanda and his team arrived with smiling eyes behind his mask. We spoke briefly asked me how I was feeling and Confident was the word I said, he smiled and told me in about 10 seconds I would be asleep and I was. I woke up and I will say I was shocked at how little discomfort I felt and always hated those first few moments of coming around. I was alert pain level maybe a 2 or 3 maximum. Allowed to leave with great instructions of after care in hand and have done very well thus far. I guess its true if you follow all of the instructions given to you and are completely honest with your doctor your surgery will go well. Thanks again Doctor Nanda and will see you in May. :)
My experience with Dr. Nanda was limited but memorable enough to ensure I don't visit him again. While in the recovery room after my colonoscopy, Dr. Nanda visited me for a maximum of two minutes to tell me he was unable to do the procedure and I'll have to do it again. I asked him why, and he said my bowels were dirty, and that, "...people cheat on their fasting". Dr. Nanda in all of his ego driven God complex made the critical mistake of assuming my behaviour, rather than kindly or sympathetically asking, "Were you able to keep the fast?" or "Did you have any difficulties fasting?". For the record, I followed all preparation instructions diligently, including fasting at that point for over 25 hours. I advised him that I did not compromise my fast. He had the absurd suggestion of coming back the next day. So I've just fasted for 25+hours, and you in all your brilliance want me to continue that fast, and accompanying cleansing, for your convenience without thought to my well being (knowing I've already advised the team that I had a headache from the fasting). As for the reception staff, they were friendly, but my appointment was forty minutes late, and they kept making excuses. The clinic was packed with over 20 waiting patients when I arrived. Just seemed like patients were commodities to be churned out at a high rate.
